3 DIY'S!

Hello! Today I have a very exciting post! 3 DIY'S!!! I had so much fun brainstorming and making these DIY's for you and I hope you enjoy them and try making them. They are all quite easy and do not require you to be a professional 'DIYer'. Also, there has been some big changes to the blog recently and if you haven't noticed, it is the whole design scheme and spectacular header! Elle from thecoppercase made the beautiful header, new favicon and helped me with the whole designing of the blog! To be honest I have absolutely no clue about anything HTML so Elle definitely deserves a big thank you for bearing with me through the whole designing process! Anyway, onto the DIY's!

The Shoebox Jewellery Organizer

#1
Find a shoebox lid that you like. I was lucky enough to have this very nice one from some dance shoes, but if you can't find one you like, take pretty wrapping paper cut it to size and hot glue it to the shoebox lid.

#2
Take 2-3 small binder clips and take them apart. These will act as the hooks for you jewellery.

#3
Place your 'hooks' in the place you want them.

#4
Grab a hot glue gun and carefully glue your 'hooks down.

#5
Now mount the lid onto your closet wall and, voila! You have your very own Jewellery Organizer!

The Indoor Plant

#1
Find a empty jar, mine is from Jamie Oliver's sauce. (which is amazing, by the way!)

#2
Fill the bottle almost to the top of the jar you can add coloured rocks on the bottom to make it look more appealing, but I was rushing to do this and didn't think about adding rocks.

#3
Make a hole in the dirt to put your plant in.

#4
Put your plant in. I decided to plant basil, because this jar stays in the kitchen, but if you are keeping it in your bedroom, you might want to choose a flower or cactus.

#5
You are finished!

The Pencil Porcupine

#1
Find a small box and cut the lid off.

#2
Buy or find a paper lantern, you can buy these at any dollar store in the party section. (they only cost 1-2 dollars)

#3
Cut the lantern into half, then cut out a piece of cardboard to fit onto one half of the paper lantern. Then hot glue the piece of cardboard on.

#4
Open the half of the lantern and carefully hot glue it onto the box.

#5
You are finished!

And those are the 3 DIY's, I hope you enjoy them! Don't forget to check out Elle from thecoppercase!
